How do I use a USB Flash Drive?

There are three elements to make a USB flash drive bootable
on a system:
The host system must support booting from a USB flash drive.
The USB flash drive must support booting in general.
The USB flash drive must contain boot/system files.
Can I remove a USB flash drive when the computer is on?
Yes. USB drives can be inserted & removed whilst the
computer is on. They are hot swappable.
